The challenge

How do you make a park look like the name it already carries?

Dream Asia is an amusement and water park. The park already had a name with a ready-made idea in it, but the park itself didn't reflect that idea.

Name and experience were pulling in different directions, and visitors had little to connect them.

The opportunity was to re-theme the whole park around its own name.

The approach

We didn't give the park a new name. We made the park live up to the one it had.

01 — Start with the name

Dream Asia already suggested a theme. Rather than inventing something new, we built on what the park was already called.

02 — Turn the idea into zones

We created country-themed zones representing China, Japan and Indonesia. The theming runs across the amusement park, water park, stay, events area and adventure park, so the whole park feels like one journey across Asia.

03 — Give the park its own characters

We created mascots for the park, giving visitors faces to recognize and remember.

04 — Give the dark ride its own story

We wrote original content for the dark ride and designed the ride itself, so it carries a story that belongs to this park.

05 — Support the park beyond the theme

Operations and marketing consultancy helps the re-themed park run well and reach the people it was designed for.
