MAST STUDIOS

Bringing Families Together.

Mast Studios exists to create more things families can enjoy together — through Stories, Technology and Experiences. Entertainment changes. The need to connect doesn't.

It started with a question.

Two entertainment veterans and a marketing nerd sat around a table and wondered:

When was the last time we truly enjoyed something together — elders, parents, teenagers and children — without worrying about whether the content was meant for one particular generation?

The options felt limited.

So we decided to create more.

Meet the people who started Mast.

Three different careers shaped across entertainment, storytelling, strategy, technology, marketing and destinations. Mast began when those perspectives came together around one shared purpose.

INTERNATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT & EXPERIENCE LEADERSHIP

Sesha Kanthamraju

Chief Executive Officer

Former Disney Executive | 30+ Years Across Entertainment & Experiences

Sesha brings decades of experience across entertainment, destination development and large-scale guest experiences.

A significant part of his career was spent with Disney across India and Asia, where he worked across entertainment and experience businesses connected to some of the world's most recognised storytelling worlds, including Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars. His time at Disney also included exposure to Disney Imagineering, strengthening his understanding of how story, design, operations and guest experience need to work together.

He later served as CEO of Ramoji Film City, where the challenge was very different in scale — managing a large entertainment destination that combines studio operations, attractions, events, experiences and significant visitor movement.

This combination gives Sesha a broad perspective on destination development. A destination cannot be approached only as architecture or as a collection of attractions. Story, commercial thinking, operations, people, capacity, guest flow and execution need to work as one system.

At Mast, Sesha leads the company's larger strategic direction while playing a particularly important role in the Experiences vertical.

What Sesha brings to Mast

Destination Strategy
Understanding what a destination needs to become and how its different components fit together.
Entertainment Operations
Thinking beyond opening day into how large visitor destinations function every day.
IP-led Experiences
Understanding how recognised stories and characters can translate into physical environments.
Master Planning & Guest Experience
Connecting attractions, movement, capacity, entertainment and operations.
Large-Scale Execution
Helping move ambitious concepts towards projects that can realistically be implemented.

CREATIVE LEADERSHIP

Anuradha Raparla

Chief Creative Officer

25+ Years Across Storytelling, Media & Entertainment

Anu brings more than 25 years of experience in storytelling and entertainment, with a career spanning television, film, content development and large entertainment IP.

Her journey includes leadership roles with Star Maa, Arka Media Works and Disney+ Hotstar, giving her experience across both traditional entertainment and large contemporary streaming audiences.

Her work around Baahubali and other major Indian entertainment properties strengthened an idea that is increasingly important to Mast: a story does not necessarily have to stop when the film ends. Characters, locations, conflicts and worlds can grow into larger entertainment universes.

Anu’s approach begins with people. Before spectacle comes character motivation, audience psychology and emotional connection. That thinking applies not only to films and animation but also to the way stories can become attractions, environments and physical experiences.

At Mast, Anu leads the creative direction across Stories while helping ensure that storytelling remains at the centre of everything Mast builds.

What Anuradha brings to Mast

Story Development
Turning initial ideas into narratives audiences can understand and care about.
Character Development
Building characters around motivation, relationships and emotional journeys.
World-Building
Creating settings, histories and storytelling systems capable of extending beyond one story.
Audience Emotion
Understanding why an audience should care before deciding what they should see.
IP-led Experiences
Helping translate stories into physical places, attractions and entertainment.
Multi-Generational Storytelling
Developing stories that different generations can enjoy together.

STRATEGY, DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP

Tabeeb Numan Khan

Chief Strategy Officer

15+ Years Across Strategy, Marketing, Technology & Growth

Numan's career sits at the intersection of strategy, marketing, technology and business growth.

His work has included helping launch and grow brands such as IKEA, Buffalo Wild Wings and Dilmah Tea in India, building an understanding of how ideas move from strategy into consumer behaviour and measurable business growth.

Over time, his focus increasingly moved towards technology. His work has included AI-powered systems, sales and marketing automation, CRM journeys and technology-led customer engagement.

At Mast, that thinking has expanded beyond marketing into entertainment. The question is no longer simply how technology helps sell something — it is how technology can make creativity easier, improve the way destinations work and create new forms of entertainment.

This thinking connects directly to Mast's Technology vertical, including the development of StoriLab, Mast's AI storytelling and filmmaking environment.

Numan also works across Experiences, particularly around commercial strategy, technology integration, destination communication and systems that connect the guest before, during and after a visit.

What Tabeeb brings to Mast

Business & Growth Strategy
Connecting creative ideas with sustainable business opportunities.
Technology Strategy
Finding where technology genuinely improves an experience rather than simply adding technology for its own sake.
AI & Product Development
Developing tools and systems around storytelling, automation and creative workflows.
Brand & Marketing
Helping destinations and products communicate clearly with the audiences they are built for.
Guest Lifecycle Thinking
Connecting discovery, planning, booking, experience, engagement and repeat visitation.
Data & Decision Systems
Using information to improve decisions across marketing, products and destination operations.

What Mast was built on.

Six beliefs we hold.

  1. Purpose

    Bringing Families Together.

Everything we create should ultimately give people another reason to connect.

  2. Creativity

    Imagine heartfelt ways.

Ideas should have imagination, but they should also make people feel something.

  3. Trust

    Be reliable and consistent.

Creative freedom works best when people can depend on each other.

  4. Optimism

    Tomorrow will be better.

    Look for possibilities before limitations.

  5. Action

    Make ideas happen.

Ideas matter. Acting on them matters more.

  6. Enjoyment

    Make room for every thought.

Create an environment where people can question, experiment and enjoy making things together.

What happened next.

  1. The Beginning

    A question became a company.

Mast began with a simple purpose: create more entertainment that families can genuinely experience together.

    Family fun
  2. One question gradually became three worlds.

    Stories. Technology. Experiences.

Today, Mast works across three interconnected verticals — each growing independently, but designed to make the others stronger.
