The challenge

How does the second oldest park in India stay relevant for a modern, cosmopolitan crowd?

Fun World is the second oldest park in India, with four parks on one site: an amusement park, a water park, an aquarium and a snow park.

For a modern audience, four parks can feel like four separate attractions rather than one destination. A park with this much history needed a stronger reason to stay relevant.

The opportunity was to bring everything under one theme.

The approach

We didn't refresh one attraction. We redesigned how the whole park fits together.

01 — See the park as one destination

Rather than improving each park in isolation, we treated the amusement park, water park, aquarium and snow park as parts of a single experience.

02 — Bring all four under one theme

We re-themed and redesigned the entire park so that everything sits under one new theme.

03 — Redesign the experience, not just the look

The redesign covered the entire park, so the new theme shapes how visitors experience the site, not only how it looks.

04 — Build a dark ride

We designed and built a dark ride, adding a story-led attraction for a modern audience.

05 — Extend the theme to merchandise

New merchandise options tied to the theme give visitors a way to take the park home with them.
